INSITER proudly announces the publication of its information brochure. The brochure constitutes the basic offline-tool to advertise the Jean Monnet Module and to inform both academics and students about the project’s aims, activities and project leaders. The information leaflet will be published with a first print run of 1.000 copies to be distributed soon at the Turkish-German University as well as at partner universities in Turkey and EU countries.
On this occasion the INSITER team would like to thank Sedef Aydoğan, research assistant at the Turkish-German University, for the fantastic design of the brochure (and her incredible patience with us). Çok teşekkürler!
On January 16 and 17, 2017, the coordinators of INSITER, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ebru Turhan and Asst. Prof. Dr. Wulf Reiners, participated in the dissemination conference of the Jean Monnet Project ‘SUMMIT’ in Berlin, Germany. The conference gathered leading EU-practitioners and academics, practitioners producing study material, students and an interested public. Turhan acted as a panelist at the session “The European Council in times of crises“, while Reiners served as a discussant at the session “Teaching the European Council: Approaches and tools”.
INSITER’s academic co-coordinator Ebru Turhan has published a co-authored book chapter entitled “Turkish Foreign Policy towards the Arab Spring: Between Western Orientation and Regional Disorder”, in the edited volume by Bülent Aras and Fuat Keyman “Turkey, the Arab Spring and Beyond” (New York: Routledge).
